Almost Paleo Pizza

Serves 2

Crust:
6 oz Almond Flour
1 egg
1tbsp olive oil
1tsp garlic powder
1tbsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 cup Marinara sauce 
(if you like making it all from scratch, may I recommend Rao's recipe http://www.marthastewart.com/328007/raos-marinara-sauce)

1/2 cup Fresh Mozzarella cut into thin slices (optionally leave off for true Paleo)

Toppings:
Skies the limit. I used maitake mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes.
You could also go with various meats or veggies (chicken breast/artichoke hearts/mini meatballs/spinach)

Dried oregano to taste
Cracked red pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 350
Use some spray on olive oil on a baking sheet.
Combine all crust ingredients and mix until they form a paste.
Make a ball out of the dough, and flatten it in the center of the sheet. Aim for a fairly thin semi-oval crust.
Bake crust for 20 minutes
Remove from oven. Coat the top with marinara sauce.
If using, add mozzarella.
Top with your choice of toppings.
Bake another 15 minutes
Remove and add oregano and cracked pepper.
